Photos from a day trip up and along the Rimutaka Incline, once the major rail route from the Hutt Valley to the Wairarapa.

Some photos I took during a day tramp to the Orongorongos east of Wainuiomata. It was pretty much getting over there, climbing up the other side to check out some of the huts, climbing down an incredibly steep track that had a wire guard rail (and then down the slip at the bottom), then mooching about until we returned to the Catchpool carpark about 3pm.

Once we had some mirror tiles set up as a garden decoration, until a blackbird spent over three hours attacking its reflection. Then we took them down.

The goose below is having a similar problem with some mirror-glass windows.

And for some reason, this video is actually quite funny.
